Ultimate Ceili is the perfect way to round off your wedding reception, birthday party or other social/corporate event. Yes, an ordinary function band will play a lot of familiar tunes, and a DJ is cheaper. Both of these options may get people dancing. But only a ceili involves every one of your guests in a much more memorable experience: anyone who has been ceili dancing will tell you they literally had a ball. It's always exilhirating, often hilarious and usually inspires a suprising degree of exuberance from the least likely guests.

So why Ultimate Ceili? We are Britain's first truly professional ceili band. UC's pool of musicians includes some of the stars of the British folk scene, with a crack rhythm section infusing a subtle but infectious mix of rock, jazz and world music influences. The pulse may rock, but the tunes are all firm Irish and Scottish session/ceili favourites, with an added sprinkling of original and adventurous 'trad' tunes.
